读前热身Before You Read

先别急着读课文！看着标题 Kelly's Mistake（凯莉的错误）和插图，想一想下面三个问题——带着问题去读，理解会更深。

    I am sitting in my boring math class, trying to listen. I begin to dream about the future.

    段落大意：我坐在无聊的数学课上，努力想听讲，却开始做起了关于「未来」的梦。

    I wonder what I will be. Will I have a great job? My hobby is singing, so maybe I will be a famous singer. Hundreds of people will want to hear me sing.

    段落大意：我想知道将来我会变成什么样：会有很棒的工作吗？我的爱好是唱歌，也许我会成为著名的歌手——成百上千的人都想听我唱歌！

    Or maybe I will be the president of my country. Everyone will listen to my speeches. They will take lots of photographs of me!

    Then I hear my teacher's voice. She is standing behind my seat, and she is angry. “Are you listening, Kelly?” she asks.

    will 将来时

    will + 动词原形 · 将要 / 会

    will 是情态动词，表示「将要、会」，后面永远跟动词原形；不管主语是谁，will 都不变。课文里有 will be、will listen、will take。

    现在进行时 · 正在做

    am / is / are + 动词-ing，表示「正在做某事」。课文里：am sitting（正坐着）、is standing（正站着）。

    动名词 v-ing

    动词加 -ing 当名词用

    动词加 -ing 变成名词，叫动名词，可作主语或宾语。课文里：singing（作表语）。

    现在分词 / 过去分词

    v-ing 作状语 · v-ed 作定语

    现在分词 v-ing 可作伴随状语（课文 Trying to listen）；过去分词（如 broken）常作定语，表示「被……的」。

    I wonder what I will be.
